How to connect

Activate the wireless feature of your device (Wi-Fi or AirPort), identify the ‘Gasnet3’ network.

When prompted, enter the password  Gasnet1011  That will connect you to the local network but you will NOT be able to access the internet until I have entered your MAC address into the router. What is the MAC Address and how do I Find the MAC Address?

Previous Gasnet3 Subscriber

If you have previously subscribed to Gasnet3 I will have your MAC address. If you choose to continue using Gasnet3 and pay your subscription there is nothing to do. If you buy a new phone, iPad or laptop you will need to give me the new MAC Address. If you wish to add another device to your subscription (for example, an iPhone or iPad when you have been using a laptop, no extra charge) then I will need the MAC Address of that device. E-mail me escarpment.internet@me.com

New Subscriber

If you are a new subscriber, provide me with your  device/s MAC Address, an e-mail address and mobile phone number. Send to escarpment.internet@me.com and I will enable your account and notify you by e-mail or SMS. You can then connect and assess the service for yourself. If you are happy with the service you then pay your subscription.

How Do I Find My MAC Address?

This is very straight forward, more-so with an Apple computer or device than with a PC. Remember, it may be printed on the bottom of your device but I need the wireless MAC address, not the ethernet MAC address. This page will help you find your MAC Address.
